What it is
USD8 is a stablecoin minted 1:1 with USDC. Two functions sit inside the token: free DeFi insurance, and a white-hat layer that keeps chasing lost assets after a claim.
What it does
Hold USD8 and use covered protocols; coverage can reach up to 80% from an on-chain cover pool, permissionlessly. After payouts, USD8 runs order enforcement, hunting stolen funds so hacks are more expensive to keep.
Why it is different
Insurance is not an add-on policy. It is baked into the dollar you hold. Claims are on-chain. The more you use USD8, the more you are covered, and security reviews sit in front of every covered protocol.
